My every day make up

Hey everyone. I wanted to share my everyday make up routine.

I start off by applying my foundation, at the moment I am using NO7 Stay perfect (new formula) in the shade cameo.

Then I set the foundation and get rid of any shininess with the Rimmel Clear complexion powder in transparent. I apply this with a kabuki brush.

I then start on my eye make up.

I prime my eyes with the Urban Decay primer potion.Apply this to the entire eye from the brow bone to the eyelash line.

I start off by applying virgin to my entire eye. Secondly apply toasted to the crease, then I contour the outer eye with hustle. Lastly I apply half-baked to the lid.

Then I apply my mascara today it is waterproof false lash effect mascara. I always apply two coats but let the first one dry before applying the next.

There you go, a complete look done in minutes. If you want to know the brushes I use etc please just ask.

Sexy neautral

Easter Weekend

From Frizz to Fantastic

Hey everyone, today I want to share with you my secrets from taking my hair from uncontrollable frizz to fantastic silky smooth hair.

First shampoo and condition your hair with your usual products. Wrap hair in a towel to soak up excess water.

Brush through your hair with a TangleTeezer. start at the tips and work up.

Spray on heat protection spray, I use Redkin.

Blow dry your hair about 20cm away from your hair, constantly move the hair dryer and lift hair and dry under to create volume especially at the roots.

When dry, brush through again with TangleTeezer.

Separate hair and straighten in sections. I use Nicky Clarke Desired.

There you go smooth sleek hair, no split ends or damaged hair and in no time at all.

My skincare routine

Hey everyone,
I have been receiving requests to do my skincare routine- so here it is.

I start of by using N07 Soft and gentle cleanser. I use this in the morning to clean my skin ready for the day and at night i use this to remove all my make up. I pump a 50p sized amount onto my finger tips, I then pat my fore-head, cheeks, chin and nose. Then using the tips of my fingers I spread the cream using an upward movement. Starting at your chin and work up use a cotton pad to remove cleanser and make-up etc. For the eyes apply a small amount directly on two cotton pads. Apply the cotton pad to the eye and leave for a few seconds, the make-up will come away on the pad.

Then I use N07 soft and gentle toner. This removes any cleanser that has not been taken off and removes any impurities that were missed by the cleanser. Apply directly onto a cotton pad, start at the chin and work towards your forehead using upward strokes.

I then move on to N07 serum. The serum penetrates deep into the skin to improve lines and wrinkles and help prevent new ones. I use the Protect and perfect range as it has been scientifically designed for my age. Apply a small amount to your fingertips. Dab this on your forehead, eye creases and anywhere you feel wrinkles may appear. Gently rub in using circular motions.

I will then use my N07 moisturiser. I have both the day and the night cream. They conain the exact ingredients your skin needs for that time. It moisturises my skin and leaves it feeling smooth and fresh. Apply this with your fingertips. Again dab 5p dots on forehead, cheeks, chin and nose. Spread the cream in circular upwards motions then gently smooth in upward sweeps until all absorbed by the skin.

Lastly I use the youthful eye cream. I wear eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner everyday, so I think its important to keep the skin fresh and elasticated. This cream gives the eyes the nutrients it needs to stay young and fresh. Da small dots in crease of your eye then towards the duct and around the ocular bone. Do not apply to your lid as your eyes are like a sponge and will just pull the cream through the skin and this is not the desired effect.

So thats my routine, any questions please feel free to ask. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Positivity

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to write a post on the power of positivity. Not everything in life is   Good or fun. We cannot control what happens to us but we can control our attitude. Your attitude will not effect the outcome but it will help your emotional and mental state. So the lesson is always be optimistic and see where it takes you.

Born in Paradise

Hey everyone, as you know I work as a fragrance consultant and the new summer fragrances have come into store, so I have been smelling them and gave you my top 5. I have actually chosen a favorite and bought it today. I thought I would give you some more information about it and some pics.

Escada: Born in paradise is inspired by the iconic Pina Colada cocktail.
The fragrance opens with a top note of green apple , watermelon and guava. Then continues to the heart note of pineapple, coconut milk and jasmine tea. Finished off with a sensual base of sandalwood, cedarwood and musk.

Its not just the scent that draws you to this heaven for the senses but the beautiful packaging too. The box is colourful with tropical birds, plants and flowers. Then the bottle itself is a turquoise blue fading to white reminiscent of perfect paradisiacal beaches.

This fragrance is only £35.00 in Boots, don't forget your £5 off fragrance voucher and double points coupon.

I have found these bags and marinade papers by Maggies, they are brilliant cans come in a variety of flavours. My favourite is Italian Herb. Try it for yourselves they can be bought in any large supermarket. They leave the chicken tasty and moist.

French nails with a twist

Hey everyone,

At work people always admire my nail designs and so I have decided to share one with you. This is my French nail with a twist.

First use a base coat I am using collection 2000 2 in 1 base coat and rude filler. Then apply a pink base colour, I am using 17 pink ballet. Then apply Barry m soar cake polish to the tips. I finish this off with Sally Hansen high shire nail polish. This is great if you find the traditional white tips hard to do.

Star Signs

Hey everyone, I have always been interested in star signs and their meanings and significance.

My birthday is 26th January which makes me an Aquarius.

According the the website Whats Your Sign

Aquarius - The Water Bearer
January 20 - February 18
Often simple and unassuming, the Aquarian goes about accomplishing goals in a quiet, often unorthodox ways. Although their methods may be unorthodox, the results for achievement are surprisingly effective. Aquarian's will take up any cause, and are humanitarians of the zodiac. They are honest, loyal and highly intelligent. They are also easy going and make natural friendships. If not kept in check, the Aquarian can be prone to sloth and laziness. However, they know this about themselves, and try their best to motivate themselves to action. They are also prone to philosophical thoughts, and are often quite artistic and poetic.

I think I agree with this. Does anyone know anymore about star signs..

Blogger Challenge 2014:3: Book Review

Hey everyone, so its topic 3 from the blogger challenge and the topic is a book review.

For anyone that knows me, they already know what book or books I am going to write about.

I have read many books and enjoyed many series but I cannot recommend any series as highly as JK Rowlings Harry Potter Books. They have high morals and lots of life lessons, all wrapped up in phenomenal stories that keep your attention from page to page.

Whats you favorite book...
